Re: Bus shelter posters, and other large print advertisements
Maybe that's the answer, next time you see a local chav asked him when it's next due to be vandalised and help yourself to the poster afterwards. They're so efficient at it, they must have it on some kind of schedule or something.

Re: Bus shelter posters, and other large print advertisements
As a final year student we nicked the ads from bus shelters without having to do any damage to them. All it took was a little bit of ingenuity or have the shelters become more secure in the last 15 years?

Re: Bus shelter posters, and other large print advertisements
I guess it's welcome to the 21st century iranu.. I reckon this century is either going to be the "Console Century" or the "Deathtoll Century" depending on how much they lie to the people buying the somewhat awful consoles available. They don't have ingenuity so violence will do.
Like the American government with diplomacy. They can't think of something clever to do.. they try a different way... like "finding" nucleur missiles all over a country and sending in the army. I mean... this entire forum is based on no one smashing anything up! Change of viewpoints in last 50 years. 1950s - We don't need to lock up 1960s - Keep the kids in.. they might get bad habits 1970s - See above 1990s - Depends where you are... in most cases see above, but in a few areas it's "Oh... someone broke in last night" 2000+ - Keep the world out! Security! Help! Stop them! Catch them! Release them" Let the world in! Monitor this! Monitor that! Help! Security! What!!! Their stealing our free posters! ARGH!! We're going to have to pay 50p to reprint it! Quick! Sue the bus company for millions! Sue! Liability! Security! Help! You get the idea. |

Re: Bus shelter posters, and other large print advertisements
Oh yeah.. I did make that up on the spot
I can probably find a few things for the other decades as well, but I decided to keep the concentration on 2000+. |

Re: Bus shelter posters, and other large print advertisements
The posters are indeed changed in the middle of the night. If you lot had proper jobs rather than 9-5 school/college/office slacking you'd certainly see them being done
