Bus shelter posters, and other large print advertisements

What happens to them once they've had their time on display?

I really want some of them, would make great student flat decoration

    JCDecaux · Home

Drop them an email and ask them what they do with them and if you can have a few

ok, just called them, they are not allowed to keep the material after it is used for advertising and it normally gets sent back to the product company or destroyed.

so looks like i have to get in contact with companies directly

    Steal the whole bus shelter!

Failing that ring/email the company directly - although strange things can happen, like the Velvet Bum naked lady poster that appeared outside our office window, sent them a cheeky snap and I get £50 of toilet roll vouchers - that's ALOT of bum roll and weird looks in the supermarket.

You say that though, but have you ever seen someone changing a bus stop film poster, i haven't. They're either extremely elusive or gnomes that only come out at night.

Depends what you want it for, most companies will let you have free "marketing" materials if you ask them nicely. If anything, send emails all over the place and try and blag!

Friday mornings are my early mornings at work, I'm out the house by 6:20 and I quite often see a guy (6:30ish) changing the posters.
