Hello guys, Recently i purchased an essay from 123helpme.com. I had an exam and this essay had alot of useful information on it.
I was charged $29 for the privilage and this was on the 8th of may. However i got another email from paypal today saying i had paid the same amount again. When looking at paypal history it shows this Original Transaction Date Type Status Details Amount 8 May 2008 Payment To Market Access Cleared Details -$29.95 USD Related Transactions Date Type Status Details Amount 8 May 2008 Add Funds from a Bank Account Completed Details £15.75 GBP 8 May 2008 Currency Conversion Completed Details -£15.75 GBP 8 May 2008 Currency Conversion Completed Details $29.95 USD 19 May 2008 Web Accept Payment Sent Cleared ... -$29.95 USD So what does cleared mean? That they have took the same amount from me twice? Or am i wrong here only ive never got this before from paypal. Thanks guys Mark

Re: Help with paypal payment please
I think that's probably fine. The best way to find out for sure would be to check your actual bank/ card account where the money was drawn.

Re: Help with paypal payment please
It's straight forward
![]() On the 8th, they took £15.75. This was then converted into US dollars, so the Pounds were removed from your account and replaced with dollars. Then, on the 19th, the transaction was approved by the seller and moved to their account. ---- Incidentally, that delay is how some Paypal fraud is commited, you make a payment and it get's ok, you then empty the account before the final transaction and disappear. Paypal is left holding the buck and then screw over the end customer by not releasing the funds |
