If you have just arrived here to find out how to sign up for this offer then first of all you need to register with us here at the HEXUS.community.

You can do this by clicking Register for the HEXUS.Community.

With you all registered and logged into the site you are required to make 20 constructive posts before the system will allow you to register with Scan. You will now need to wait till midnight of the day when you reach 20 posts in order for the database at Scan to recognise your registration. So go off, have a cup of tea, eat some food, and come back and join in discussions here if you want, before getting some sleep, ready for the new day.


On the following day head on over to this page at Scan and fill in the required fields of the form to associate your account.

If you don't currently have an account with Scan (shame on you! ) then you will need to register with them first by clicking on the new customer login link on the right.

Once you are all up and registered with Scan there are a few boxes to fill in...

• You will be asked to fill in your First and Last Names (we can't help you here if you don't know it !
  
• Followed by your postal code, Mothers Maiden name and password.
  
• With you logged into the Scan site you will then be asked for three items, your HEXUS User ID, HEXUS Username and HEXUS email address.

THE EMAIL ADDRESS USED WITH HEXUS AND SCAN MUST MATCH FOR THIS TO WORK!

Your HEXUS User ID is at the top right of the page within the welcome box, just above the "Log out" button.

Next up is your HEXUS user name, this is the name you login with

Finally enter your email address, this must be the same email address you used to sign up with Scan originally.

Submit the form and you should be set to get started ordering all that sweet hardware from Scan, remember though, don't order with free shipping unless your order is worth at least £20 EXCLUDING VAT.

Troubleshooting!

• If you have registered with your details once and try to again it will lock you out and you will need to raise an OLQ (Online Query) with SCAN.
• If any of your forum or SCAN details change in a 24 hour period you have to wait for the forums and SCAN to re-sync (usually at Midnight on the day of the changes)
  • If you still don't have any joy then please PM Lee H (He will need your HEXUS details, and your postcode in order to look you up!) or post in this thread.

Yes it is fixed - and it works for a lot of people - not sure why you have a problem - PM one of the SCAN bods!

I am trying to register for the free Scan Delivery. But when I follow the link and then am asked to login, I login with my Scan.co.uk details/ It doesnt do anything else except take me to my logged on page. I am I doing something wrong.

I have just tried it again. When I click on the link I then login with my Scan details. It then just shows me my Scan account details and doesnt prompt for any further information.

The link has changed slightly, so you can associate the 2 accounts by using the link below and not the 1 in the guide above

As such, once you login here - it will then take you to the association page to link the two together.

i get this error when i try to send a PM

mcken200, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I didn't realise this was how to set it up i sent my order off today then found this, i now have to wait till past 12 anyway but if i do setup my account after 12 will the postage come off my order as they havn't and wont have done anything with the order yet since its a sunday or will i have to contact Scan or somthing?
