    Question Firefox3 or Opera not drawing pages correctly?

    Hey guys,
    I loaded up firefox and opera and compared the same page and it turns out that FF gives me an almost invisible indent line underneath the RE: thread titles:

    Firefox on the left, and opera on the right.

    This a hexus thing, or Opera just being a bad boy?

    Bored.

    No line in IE7 so i think it is FF3 being a bad boy rather than Opera.

    Actually, I get the white line in IE7, and I think the white line is supposed to be there.

    <hr size="1" style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"/>

    Therefore, isn't it just opera being wrong?

    It was my understanding that IE breaks quite a lot of the rules when it comes to rendering web pages, which means that web designers have to compensate. either their pages render correctly under IE, or under other browsers but not often both.

    Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's Opera not displaying the hr tag with the size/style attached properly.

    It could be my eye sight, or the encoding on those pictures, but there looks to be a double while line in the FF3 screen grab.

    I see what you mean, but I think that's just the bad encoding, it doesn't show for me in FF3 anyway.
