I SO wanted the monorail set when I was a kid. Had quite a few of the pirate ones as well. Arrrr me harties.

I think I am going to get a set tomorrow and build it at work ... You know EVERYONE will want to do it again ...

If I believed in God and Heaven etc, that would be it.

But I don't so I will just have to make do with having gone to the Lego store last night.

If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?

you know that there is a massive online archive of all the instruction booklets for pretty much all of the sets from the last 20 years

I had the fire station. Those roller doors were great! I also had an American truck (the front bit of an arctic, called a tractor unit I think) which was really cool as you could control the steering from a wheel on the back. Loved the stuff, and when combining these 2 sets as well some Technic (think it was a plane originally) created some great stuff.

I'll take a couple of legs!

The problem with Lego nowadays (as James May said in a program once) is that the kits now have too many custom parts, where one bit will make a whole section rather than building it up from original bricks.

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt; then it's bloody hilarious!
