| Telewest Phone Probs OK we have two lines going into our house. Last week both of them started to have a clicking noise when talking to someone, kinda like someone is off the hook on one end and its just touching the disconnect switch on the phone. Anyway after a while it cuts out and you get a dial tone, usually between 1-5mins. Guy from Telewest comes over, checks our box, strips the wires, adds new connectors, lines are fine till today. Started doing it again. Engineer coming out Thursday. Both lines have Digital Cordless phones, I can understand one maybe doing it but both? Really odd. Just wondered if anyone had any probs like this? Annoying cos I cant make calls for longer than 1-5mins! Used up all my mobile free minuets now too! Maybe my lines are tapped ... hehe, thing was though chatting to my friend last week when it first started, he was like, "OK whoever is tapping this line, put the phone down now, go on I dare ya, disconnect us" comical, the line disconnected. Freaked us both out! LOL! |
