Welsh Channel 4.
Seen it? Sky channel 134.
Cefn Gwlad is on now, then Cod Cristnogaeth, followed by Tywydd at midnight. I'm sorry, but Tywydd is not a word. Its what you get if you remove most of the letters from a longer word then push the ones left together. How do you pronounce Tywydd? Its a shame there isn't another, much more widely spoken language they could use... ... ... ... ... HANGONAMINUTE! |

It's sort of pronounced 'Tuwith' I think?

Re: Welsh Channel 4.
Try living here, until I got freeview; the simpsons would regularly disappear only to be replaced with some drooling farmer speaking an incomprehensible language.

All the decent stuff that used to be on, on friday night on channel 4 was always shown the next wednesday on S4C. For some reason I used to enjoy watching game shows in welsh as well - although I had absolutely no idea what was going on... |

As opposed to C4/C4+1/E4/E4+1 and trying to guess when Hollyoaks is not on
![]() It isn't easy, you can actually accumulate about 5 minutes of accidental viewing just by flicking channels randomly. I now know that Max is dead. I have no idea who Max even is! |

Re: Welsh Channel 4.
S4C is awesome.
Even though I canny speak Welsh (I know I should), I sometimes watch with subtitles and there are some top quality TV shows on there. ![]() |

I've spoken Welsh since i was 4 WOOO for me lol and yes Tywydd (which is a word meaning weather) is pronounced as 'Tuwith'. But you have to make sure you emphasises the ‘dd’ on the end of the word. When the Magners league starts my dad will employ me to translate the commentary The bets thing about speaking welsh is being able to go to England and talk away. Welsh comes in handy when i go to Twickers with m8's ![]() |

Re: Welsh Channel 4.
Welsh is certainly an interesting language, one that I'd like to learn, but it's so confusing! Even more so than any other language I've tried, except English, quite possibly the most confuzzling languages in the world. How's that work?
