    Olympics: Beijing 2008

Only 4 weeks to go! Personally I'm looking forward to this.
However, the time difference will be a bummer

The other thread is in the sports forum, or as I like to call it 'the correct forum'.

Do we really need two though? I'd suggest merging the two threads, but this thread was pretty light on relevant content prior the 5th post (not that the other one is much better, but at least there has been more participation of some sort).

Pot calling the kettle black Stewart. How about practising what you preach in the gaming section?

    Back on topic.

Its been am awesome day today, plenty of medals for Team GB. Just a shame the Sailing couldn't be finished, that would have been another two medals for us.

As for the Algae problem on the rowing lake. Its not the sort of thing that can be cleared overnight. So people are just having to put up with it for now.

I talk about gaming in the gaming forum.

If you have a problem, don't talk to me, email David, Matt or Zak.

    Awesome!

I think there's also a guaranteed Gold and Silver in the Women's event in the velodrome today.

Also Women's Quadruple sculls - they just won a silver.

Yup, ahead of the Germans and the French. The countries ahead of us have massive populations, so we are punching well above our weight.

Won't last We just had a good weekend where all of our strongest events came together and before all of the track and field stuff has been medalled

But it's already a vast improvement, lets hope they keep it up for 2012.

Yup, we've been nudged to 4th place now as I just read Australia have won 4 gold medlas today. Still GB are in for a good chance in the team pursuit just before midday.
We've been doing very well anyhow.
