    Nokia 7250i query.

My Nokia 7250i has a flashing envelope on the screen at the moment.... Usually this is on when my inbox/sent items are full... I've got 69 messages in my inbox and 75 in my outbox.

I'm assuming the flashing envelope indicates that my memory is nearly full...

Yet when you view the settings i am only using 1.2mb in total. and have 2.9mb free. 2.9kB is text messages.

Is it flashing to tell me the memory on the sim card is full?

Some techno phone dude come and shed some light on this situation....

my sim card can only hold 10 messages, but the phone can hold like 70 or something (not 100% sure how many), maybe you've filled up the sim card rather than the phone itself..

Normally on Nokia's this means that the Inbox is full, or approaching full.

You might have 2.9mb FREE memory, but not all that is designated to messages. Some of it will be for pics etc.

It could be you have a MMS message waiting to be read? You checked there?

    GL,
    Nick

yup... just deleted my sent msgs... and its stopped flashing now.

i wish it would allow me to save more messages... 150ish msgs in total just isnt enough.
