How many DVDs do you own?

just curious....some people have stupendously huge DVD collections. A mate of mine has several thousand LPs, DVDs, & CDs. They take up the best part of every single room in his house.

I've got way more than that.

The vast bulk of them are data disks though. On the assumption that the question really meant movies that happen to be on DVD, I haven't answered.

Ive prolly got 120 or so.

Some one I used to work with has prolly got almost 1000! an entire wall in his house is just one HUGE shelf full of them.

My wife and I probably have 300+ DVDs if you count the ones in box sets seperately (she recently bought the entire Sex and the City, the entire Morse, the entire Sherlock Holmes etc. etc., and I have 5 seasons of The West Wing and plenty of other stuff). I've probably watched less than a third of them though, and I'm not sure when I'll get time to watch the rest.

I also have enough LPs to stretch for about 8 feet if you stacked them side by side, about 60 Laserdiscs, hundreds of 7" singles, and we must have well north of 300CDs by now, many of which she already had when we met.

Oh, and 150+ computer games that I've barely played.

Got around 250 normal DVD's, around 180 HD DVD's, 30 or so Blu Ray's and more CD's than I really care to count...

I reckon I've got a few over 300 by now. A combination of factors really, when I used to work at Game (back when they sold second hand DVDs) there was a way of working the system so you could acquire DVD very cheaply without the customer losing out. Than and the fact that I'm a total sucker for 3 for £XX offers.
