eBay price increases again
Yet more ebay price increases, second rise in only a few months. This time they are massive and sees a trebling of some charges. This has GOT to stop,,,, surely!

It's a perfect example of market forces at work. Will people pay it? They will if they think it's worth paying. Oh sure, they won't like it. But will it stop people using EBay? Some, maybe. But probably not many. EBay is a business and they're out to make money. They're not a social service. They have the right to charge whatever they like, and if customers don't like it, they have the right to not use them. Look at it tis way ... if EBay stick prices up too much, it'll encourage people to use other services, and if that happens, we may see some real competition. And if we do, that will force EBay to be competitive. But at the moment, they've got what amounts to a monopoly, and they've got the supremely arrogant attitude that goes with market dominance ..... which is precisely why they can (and do) do pretty much what they like on pricing .... and customer service.
