    Seconded?

That IS pretty stupid... and it's a bad sign that he thought he could just get away with it, in broad daylight using a front window

i think the guy in the states getting trapped inside the store still takes the win, because of the cctv footage. this is close though.

of course after this litte chavvy scum is released he'll be back round the house to do there throats

Nah.. best one I've seen so far has to be the guy in Kent that robbed his corner shop wearing nothing but a sheet and some boots.. then drops the sheet on the way out, in full view of 4 cameras...

Sorry but but nothing beats the fella that tried to rob a bank disguised as a tree.

    This is my personal favourite:

“To enter a bank and pass a note demanding money does not involve a great deal of planning,” he said. A few years ago, he said, a man in Teele Square walked into a bank and handed an envelope to a teller with a note demanding money. The man walked out with the money but was soon found by police because the envelope had his name and address printed on it, Upton said.
Can't find a big story with a picture on it, have to make do with this from a quick google, paragraph 4.

Maybe he'll get a shorter one for coming forward with evidence.

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

The best one I read was about a glue sniffer who broke into an industrial glue plant. He opened up a small barrel of glue, took a big sniff and passed out, unfortunately the barrel fell over with him. He was found the next day, glued to the floor.
