Re: Counting Sheep
You could always try counting cows; they move slower.

Re: Counting Sheep
Or you could try counting crows. They send most people to sleep with their relaxing music...
If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

Re: Counting Sheep
My friend has some drugs to help with his eczema and the warning on the label does say it causes drowziness...he took some one night and was knocked out for 12 hours. lol. I recommend that over ficticious sheep...unless you were counting real sheep in your back yard...

Re: Counting Sheep
Stringent,
I used to suffer like that and after cutting down on the coffee and caffienated drinks, especially after 6pm has helped a hell of a lot. Try it for a week and I bet you will nodding off easier than now

Re: Counting Sheep
Thought about trying some basic meditation? I don't mean going the whole hog but going through the motions of relaxing body and mind... helps you switch off and only takes about 10-15min.
There will be some techniques on the net. One of my friends who does yoga taught me |

Currently upgraded an office to Office 2007, am there now helping staff get used to it. I start back at work (school) next week. I did sleep quite well in New York though. Probably back home, back to insomnia.
I used to take Kalms, 4 of them before bed to help relax. However if I didn't drop off I felt really groggy. Maybe do some WiiFit before bed to totally knacker me out, or perhaps some other form of vigours exercise ... Just annoying when you cant drop off!Right now my whole aura is in two places. My mind is buzzing, where as my body just wants to curl up! I have also tuned off every electrical appliance in my bedroom save my clock radio thing which buzzes a bit. Might need to get a new one. Cant stand electrical hum, a drone maybe, I'll leave the air conditioning on tonight and see what happens ...
