Game/Movie Idea Guidance

All right so like many others probably I have an idea, more like a story developed in my head for some good years now. Over the years I have thought about some of the major aspects on how this story would evolve and take shape on the big screen or in a MMO (which would be basically the same). Of course it is somehow inspired by the experience I have in real life, in gaming and also inspired by the movies I seen but, as any good story it has it's originality and attractiveness. But what I think it might be very interesting is the level of addictiveness it can sprout (in a game) or the level of ... "wanting more" (in a movie).
Anyways so I have this idea, I haven't ever had the time to put it on paper (electronic) more than a detailed intro and working on a basic sketch of the whole story these days. What I am looking for is some tips where I should search for a volunteer scriptwriter, to help me develop this idea into an actual script that would worth be presented to movie/gaming companies.
I am not looking for someone to do my work, so it's not really a volunteer job as I would be more than pleased to share my idea (provided a NDA is signed) and if I find the right person (who I think shares my vision and is genuinely interested) to make a partnership and try to put this idea in practice (well the way I see it is try to sell or convince a company to put it in practice with our help).

I am not expecting to find the right person right here (tho I hope) but any advice as to where to start, what would be the next step (maybe from advised persons like involved in the business or even just a personal unadvised idea/opinion) would be greatly appreciated. And if you're just going to mock the whole thing don't worry just go ahead as you're not the first or the last one to make fun of another "wanna be" whatever
