    Customer Support - Useless/Funny advice

I was looking through the settings of my O2 USB modem settings.
An accidental click on one option - Turn on Flight Mode - buggered things up. The O2 app manager would start up, find no signal and the the app would close. If you started it up and clicked on settings then the app would just close. So I uninstalled the app and deleted the main program folder.

But still the same. With O2's app, you need to turn of Vista's users account control to instal. Then turn it on after it's finished. Still I found myself with the same problem and called O2 customer support. After speaking to several people and having to repeat myself over and over I got my final peace of advice after they found I was using Vista.

    Customer support: "Turn off Vista."
    Me "Eh?, Turn off Vista?"
Customer support: "That what it says here."
Me: "You mean uninstall Vista, are you serious?....."
With that I laughed and politely said goobbye and thankyou.

I uninstalled O2 app, deleting the main app folder and the folder in my users app data folder and by running the app in administrator mode I fixed it.

Thing is, I'm dumb. And I could think of better advice. Anyone else have crap or funny advice?

I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
