    Talking Scad Diving

Anyone seen this before? Like Bungee jumping but without the bungee!

    http://www.extremedreams.co.uk/scad%20diving/

You drop 150ft in 3.5 seconds reaching speeds of up to 70mph and land in a net...... how COOL would that be??

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

Couple of my friends did that in Blackpool a few years ago. It looks quite fun, but the fact that it's over so quickly put me off. I did a bungee jump instead :>

Yeah, done that in San Antonia, Ibiza. Great fun!

You might not have it now, but it was there three years ago. I'm not wrong, so hush please. It was on one of the piers (the one with the reverse bungee). A rather large structure that had a board for bungee jumping off, and a crane with net for the scad - all built into one.

Whether it has been disassembled now is not my concern - it was there.

Mate of mine told me about this a while back sounds like fun

Did a bungie jump once and the buzz is just crazy, would love to do it again, just need to take some spare pants next time.

Looks like fun. I really want to do a bungie jump

Those slignshots (caged ball things) are all over the place. Looks like fun but i am a big scaredy cat so i wont go on "oooooh you'l never get me on that etc". I go on rollercoasters but those things look a bit vicious...
