    Traser watches

Has anyone used any / got any opinions?

    Are they good quality?

The reason i ask is that i keep breaking watches and want something thats going to last a bit longer. Looked at the G-Shock watches but they're a bit too chunky and big.
    Any other suggestions?

You could get the smaller baby g watch

Have you tried the argos/index catalogues, they usually have a good selection.

    I'm the same - I daren't get a "blingy" watch because it'd just break.

I got one.. 2 years ago.... and it's been abused, horribly and still has only lost a handful of seconds. good built quality, tough as nails.. and it lights up really nicely at night.. don't need recharging or nowt on it's 4th strap, and they must be good - the SAS ordered 180,000 of the beggars to hand out as standard issue after extensive testing. It aint in any way "blingy" either, it's just a watch oh yeah, and it's fully waterproof down to 200m

180,000 standard issue? How many people are actually in the SAS?

Once you get into the three figure watch market you tend to find they can take more abuse . My watch which i didnt pay 3 figures for by the way has a 'mineral glass' face which is apparently scratch resistant. I have whacked it and i mean really whacked it of stuff, metal mainly plenty of times and its yet to pick up a visible scratch- im impressed

mine's got a few scratches on it now.. had it about 2 years and it has got the mineral glass, although it is scratched a little now - which is understandable, cos I do a very good impression of James Herriot everyday, except with nasty sharp edged photocopiers instead of soft cow's behinds.....
