DDR_Axbattler (L10) surprisingly reached the 10th hour in the tournament, beating a L17 in the process http://ddraxbattler.mybrute.com/tf/67735705 (guy can't have been amused) and a L15 http://ddraxbattler.mybrute.com/tf/67678361

As an achievement, it sorts of ties with what happened with another character last week. If anyone fancies a challenge, the defeated L17 are 'Lost2mybear' and 'higlander' (notice spelling).

Edit: Ooh, another one of my reserve character (L11) finally hit the 11th hour. Not sure if that's enough to get a title. In the process, she beat a L16 (http://keigo-3.mybrute.com/tf/67742965) L17 (http://keigo-3.mybrute.com/tf/67737845)

And then she got one-hitted by a L66 without weapon (http://keigo-3.mybrute.com/tf/67743477)

Well, I wasn't going to reveal her existence until she became less susceptible to being one-hitted, but she's not the safest brute to go after

Miss Kanji is getting depressed. Yesterday, she saw 5 loss and 2 wins on her result board. It's been at least 7 levels since her last skill.

I think that it's more like 3 levels in 8-9 days. She was at L15-16 when she last battled Yarrick01. I've been pushing her as my main, advertising where I can, so she now has as more pupils Biqui. I hope that she'll improves though, she's currently below average for her level.
On the bright side, two of my 'reserve' characters achieved the "Sticking Plaster Ripper" title recently at L11 [First on Hexus?]

your 'weak' brutes have historically been stronger than fallguy, so he has to think twice before looking on them as any sort of underdog.. even Naari beat me yesterday..

To be honest, I think that you will Fallguy44 will probably fall if he doesn't land one hit with that club. Kunoichi Taki has impact, and three weapons isn't a lot to take out. But she doesn't take hit too well, one hit from each of Fallguy's three weapons, and it should be Fallguy's win.

As for Mesotheliomajjk, I am guessing that you fought him and forgot? I remember seeing that battle not long after I posted that I dropped him. Mind you, I don't think I suggested that you went for him, as he is well suited against characters with low weapon counts, no armor/martial art.

Do you random fight most of the time or pick on selected brutes? [I tend to go for two relatively safe fights and one for the fun]

Just hit level 12 and got myself more agility and the fierce brute special ability so looking forward to seeing how greymata does in fights now

Still keeping the other three brutes under wraps for now to see how they pan out but it looks like I have one good fighter coming up with the other two being 50/50 on winning and losing :/

steeeveee's being challenged by all and sundry again, so thats back to normal. he's 1 fight away from lvl 13, where hopefully his bear wrangling skills have netted him a new pet bear. hopefully.

Yeah, trouble is he is not very good at defending himself atm, and doesn't always make full use of his weapons. Still, we'll see what the next lvl up brings

The Flattened One (ah, I remember that brute attacking FMS too) remind me a bit of Fallguy44: same hair/skin colour, three weapons each (one identical). Though that's probably where the similarity ends. 6 Skills at L10 is pretty sweet, great stats, just need a killer weapon now.

yeah, I concur that I definitely challenged him - am probably being dense here, but what I didn't get was how that fight appeared to be yesterday...?

As far as selecting brutes, yes 2 safe & 1 wild card is the plan in principle, in practice fallguy fails to find 2 copper-bottomed victims. 1/3 today, so no 13 til tomorrow Will line Kunoichi up

teamaker made 9 & got a shield, hmm.. better than nothing.

Shields are quite nice. You definitely want it *at some point* (Miss Kanji would like one). It's one of those luck based items things that can change the flow of a match if the game likes you (kind of like that stick of doom, it looks useless because of the low damage yet sometime it keeps hitting the guy before he gets near you). I've seen how the shield block a bear's attack again and again.

And it wasn't yesterday, it's just that it seems that nobody has bothered challenging him, and I've not played with that character since his retirement. It seems that Fallguy44's attack was the last fight he saw xD

I suggest treating Miss Taki as a 'wild card' character. I'll also randomly note that she is the 2nd out of three 'Taki' that I have to be dropped. Looks like this game doesn't like my favourite SC character as much as I do xD;

Edit: Looks like Fallguy44 made it to L13 (thanks to Teamaker). Looks like it's mainly a Strength improvement ^^;

May next level come swiftly and bountiful xD;
