I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

Re: Jensen Button - World Champion!

I think he is.. It's been a strange season sure, some terrible cars from Ferrari and McLaren but is that just because we expect them to have an amazing car? Brawn did a great job in a debut season albeit just a re-badged team really..

He's trickled through this latter part of the season but no one has managed to take it away from him so it's his. As worthy a winner as anyone would have been.

Well done Button, it's been the season he's been waiting for

A great race today, Jenson sealing the world championship was just a bonus Does he even have a drive confirmed for next year yet?

Not yet, apparently, he's not being offered enough money.

Glad he's won. I would have liked Barrichello to win but jensen to claim the title.

Re: Jensen Button - World Champion!

Button deserved to win the championship!!! I know some will argue he has not won any races for a while.................but he did keep putting point on the board!! And today he had a great race thanks in part to the crashes at the start of the race.

As for him no signing with Brawn yet I think he will!!! The bit about him wanting more money is rumour, although it could be true. And winning this championship could tip the negotiations in his favour. But I don't think there is any risk of him not staying with Brawn..........he woudl be mad not too!!!

Re: Jensen Button - World Champion!

Was a great race full of drama, I was like flapping my arms around with the crashs, the fuel hose, car on fire and the take overs all throughout the race.

    Button did a great race.

    To anyone voting no.

Step 1: Place monitor on a North-south axis, with screen pointing Westwards.

Step 2: Dover is that way ====>

I don't see how you can argue he didn't deserve to win. He got the most points and as I understand it drove some pretty fine races this year.

He put some fantastic overtaking manouvres in today just after the safety car - it was almost like touring cars! Top Job JB

Re: Jensen Button - World Champion!

Brilliant race, Well done Jenson and Brawn.

He definitely deserved the championship, after-all the first 7 races were "Schumacher-esch" as everyone seemed to point out at the time, and those banzai manoeuvres in today's race deserved everything they got him.

To be honest, this is the first full F1 race I've ever watched, although I've been keeping up to date on Button and Brawn.

    What a race, though

He is thoroughly deserving of the title and for Brawn to do so well in their first season, plus the fact that they are British is all the better. Britain reigns supreme!

Damn fine winner, he did it in some style today with some aggresive overtaking. About time he did really but a worthy winner and nice to see the Brawn win the team title aswell when it looked like they'd all be unemployed pre season.
