Wolverhampton - Worst City in UK

Wasn't it not long ago that Hull was named the worst city in the UK? You know you're asking for trouble with a name like that. I have a feeling that it might have been Phil and Kirsty who named it the worst city since they have been doing a yearly guide for a couple of years now.

There was a book published a couple of years ago which named Hull as the worst city in the UK - I felt very proud of my hometown

I went back to Hull last year for the first time in god knows how long and was actually quite impressed with some of the work they've been doing in the town though, so perhaps it's improved enough to passon the baton

I can't judge as I've never been to Hull, and from the 2 people I know from Hull, they say it really aint that bad. You could easily argue that Newcastle is no better anyway, so who am I to say?!

Well as I went to uni there, it's not that bad.

However there is one thing that would drive me mad at this time of year, the main shopping bit in the center of town is all pedistranised and all the lamp posts have speakers on them.
Yep xmass muzak in the street as well as every shop, there was no escape from it

I don't live far away from it and Wolverhampton is indeed a dive. It's not as bad as some other towns but you are quite likely to get stabbed there for no reason these days
