URGENT help needed
I'm posting here to get maximum response as this is very urgent...Apologies mods!
Since her computer went off in a power cut, she cannot open IE, Outlook Express, or, annoying enough, System Restore. WHen she tries to open OE/IE, the mouse cursor changes to busy for a few seconds and just sits there, but they are there in "processes" in the task manager. Upon opening system restore both in normal and windows safe mode, it just freezes and is not responding. This is VERY urgent for her as she needs her internet and emails, and incredibly enough these are the two things not working. I'm thinking a file has gone corrupt upon the abrupt shutdown or something, but how can I help her? I have to do it over the phone so the easier, the better. Thanks for your help guys
