    O2 XDA2 Such a sweet phone.

I'm suprised the Z600 isn't on that list, the T610s are alright phones but I've heard the screen isn't very good.

I'd choose the V600. Samsung aren't allways very reliable.

T610 for the minigolf game alone - or go for a T630 for the better screen

oh yeah, you can terrorise people with Bluetooth, so that's a must in any new phone

Dont get the T610, i've had this phone since july last year. I love the features it has, but you just cant see the screen when outside, just to much reflection from the plastic cover. Oh well its almost time to upgrade again

i thought you could only upgrade with the fones in the "upgrade" section of the site?

edit: i'm in the same position, i can upgrade mine on o2 too, but i just cant find a fone that i like. I dont like "squishy" buttons which seems to be the main problem.

Look at the SonyEricsson range then, I now have the T610 but most of my other SE Phones have had hard buttons (unlike Nokias which are made of rubber)

    Personally, I'd stick with Nokia.

Other manufactuars put all the bells and whistles on their phones and are starting to close the gap with Nokia in terms of looks, but they still can't touch Nokia when it comes to the UI.

I've tried and owned phones from all of the big players - Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, etc. and none of them have close to how fast, responsive and easy it is to use a Nokia. On my old (and now thankfully binned) Sony Ericcson T68i it took about a billion button presses just to send a text message. With my current Nokia, I'm into "create a text message" in one press of a button.

On the T68i you hold the joystick to the left for a second and you're into create new message! On the T610 just one nudge to the left does the trick.

Maybe you just didn't take enough time to get used to a non-nokia UI?!

I used to think Nokia were the business until the T68 came out. It was a milestone in terms of UI (colour screen, icons, joystick) - lightyears ahead of any Nokia phone. Nokia were still producing dated monochrome displays. It's taken them a couple of years to get the message but Sony Ericsson have given them a right good kick up the butt. I think Nokia still suffer from the fact that they have too many model numbers.

Somehow SE seems to have the "cool" factor that Nokias don't quite have...

I've got a T610 at the moment and I'm very happy with it. I can see what people are saying about not being able to see the screen in direct sunlight but I can live with that - the rest of the phone is fantastic (apart from the camera which is a waste of space!).

    Just my opinion.

    cheers,
    dave

Personally I would go with the 6230. Does everything the 6600 does but in a much better package, I have a 6600 and whilst I love the features I don't like the bulkiness of it, am going to take out another contract in june to run alongside my exisitng one to get a 6230 partially cos I took an offer out for free text for 6 months and when that ends I will still want to text like a biatch and I so can't afford that lol
