    Not a problem m8

I would suggest you use the search function or Google in your first port of call however, you'll find the answers normally a lot quicker in most cases.

    Bobby,

Just one question, you work as a school IT admin right?, as much as i'm happy to help it seems odd sometimes that you ask the questions that you do.

Admins dont know everything! I work as an admin and there are some things that I just have to say "I dont know" to.

Even the best have to ask for help

Having worked has a admin there comes a time when even you need to ask for help.

You might say use google but i look at it this way maybee there are others that need the same question answering and by me or some one else asking the question and getting a reply they gain insight.

All in all we win, it's wat hexus is about.

I think if you work in an IT Team of about 5 people or more you're much more likely to pick stuff up on a daily basis from the other people in the team - but if you're the only person doing IT support - then you don't have other people around who you can ask questions...

Thanks Zak, No offence meant - i was merely wondering as sometimes i ask questions just to encourage sharing of knowledge, doesn't always work i grant you. I was just trying to understand whether i was assuming that Bobby was an IT admin or not. Makes little difference to whether i'd help Bobby or anyone else for that matter, but just me checking.

    Thanks
    TiG

The IT adminstrator of my old school didn't have the slightest clue, yet he kept boasting his knowledge and then when i got to college i found him there. Doing a beginner course in IT.
