how poor are the US army?

just watched Godzilla for the umpteenth time (cheers channel 5) and recalled what I came to realise when I first saw it ages ago...how crap the US armed forces are.
I mean look at all the damage they do to the city in the film - if anything they cause more damage than the hulking great thing blundering through the buildings - take for example the helicopters missing and hitting skyscrapers, then themselves, and the submarines again destroying themselves.
not the best advert for the US forces now is it?
though I might add probably an entirely accurate depiction of their ineptitude.

Please, Don't ask for that one 'as a desktop'...its really not worth wasting your time asking, unless you're able to pay £££?

<rant>not only that, the Apache helipcopter pilots dont even realise they can fly higher than 500ft, so there was no need for all that stupid flying around skyscrapers AND they launch sidewinders at a ground target AND the F/a18s launch a Harpoon anti ship missile at Madison Square</rant>

    still it's no Independence Day

Dreadful dreadful film tbh. Got worse when all the baby human-sized ones appeared (weren't they a little small considering the size of the adult?)

Very very annoyed at that film, right now. Ellie went to go and do some work after Relocation Relocation had finished, so I put Godzilla on until 10pm. Fell asleep at bloody 9.30pm due to the pooness of that film.

Worst of all... I MISSED ER!

For the record, the son of godzilla is roughly 1/2 the height of godzilla and blows little "smoke rings" rather than breathing radioactive fire

Wasn't he call Godzucki or something? Does anyone remember the cartoon version, always made me think of scooby doo for some unknown reason.

what bothered me about the new film was "Why do that to Led Zeppelin's Kashmir? why?"
