This guy is a legend. Yes, what he did was legally wrong and I have a feeling the judgement was in no small part due to the danger to pedestrians. However, having been in similar situations many times in the UK I applaud his stance. He should’ve left a note? You must be joking. I’ve left a note and had arguments with people blocking my private driveway many times. Even argued with people parking on our private lawn. Leave a note? Leave a note? Pft.

There was no danger to other pedestrians as the other pedestrians were a long way away anyways.

I seen this video earlier, I do feel sorry for the old chap, but I was amazed to see how close some of the parents were taking their young children to the incident while the cars were still in motion and I think that probably contributed to the loss of his license.

Yes its an offence to do what he did as there was intent, but in my eyes that's much less of an issue than the prats parking in front of his garage.

I hope he now decides to invest in some anti idiot device to put in front of his garage even though he's not allowed to drive.. preferably something fun, like tyre spikes or a clamping sign

That's the parents fault rather than the driver. The driver didn't ram the car into them.

The parents should get fined for endangering their kids!
