Hm, I don't really know actually. It depends on what type of girls you wanna meet! If you wanna meet a party girl etc...you might find her on a night club, even if you like it or not ( I don't say all "party" girls hangs around at night clubs though!)

But I could also say, on a café That's kinda cute, isn't it?
Or over the Internet, but on that point, folks can have different opinions.

Hm...I don't know where else..if you can be a bit more specific about what type of girl you like then you might get other answers.

You know when you ask something and then think afterwards.. why? Well...

It's just I like to go to bars and pubs and socialise, rather than making a t*** of myself in a club (believe me, it HAS happened!). I've been with a girl that I met on the interweb before, chated for months on MSN and then got together. That didn't work out tho...

I just want someone to have fun with but for more than a week. Someone I can take places and enjoy being with. But.. the one girl I could really go for right now, well, my mate thinks he's in love with her. So that's kinda not gonna happen

Hi!

I do believe that this is one of life's great mysteries. Where do you go to meet prospecitve partners - coz lets face it, it could happen anywhere and at anytime. I dont think there is really 'A' particular place you can go to meet the prospective 'girl of your dreams' and this is SO true when the shoe is on the other foot too.

In the past Ive met people in various different ways, through work, friends, web etc and none of those ways have been right as yet. Im still sitting on the bench waiting to find someone that I can have a 'relationship' with for longer than a week and that can put up with me!!

But - I do know that EVENTUALLY it will happen. I will finally find someone with the same views on life as me, who is good for a laugh and can put up with me being a nutter - and so will you. (not saying that you are the same as me, but there is someone out there for everyone!)

So just take solice in the fact that you are not alone - and that the following statement is true:
"It'll happen when you least expect it!!"

I agree with Honoop that you will find someone when you least expect it, so it may actually be better to stop *looking*.

I met Barry on the web too. At first we had no intention of meeting, then I was going to stay at his for a week or so before emigrating to Australia as we had become really close friends by then and decided that it was possibly going to be our only chance to meet each other. After 5 days of staying at his I cancelled my one-way ticket to Australia. We've been together just over 3 years now and got engaged in April

My advice is enjoy life, meet lots of people, make new friends (male & female) and it will happen
