If you have an XBL, I presume you can pay for stuff via Paypal? If so, wouldn't you have to change your account email address for that to happen in which case I would not only have received the email from PP, but also one from MS saying "thank you for your purchase".
It's strange as I've never had an xbox console nor live account. Hell, the email address used isn't even linked to a hotmail account or other MS Live service!
Not worth pursuing anymore, I've had the refund + the exchange rate loss refunded too, so it's a closed case. It just winds me up when these things happen!
