    nasty summer

ritey then, we all know the great bits of summer, such as holidays, no rain and women in skimpy clothes, but i wanna know what you all hate about summer.
personally, i hate all the bleedin' wasps everywhere, and the fact that my room is boiling hot when i wake up, making me feel all icky.

my room gets the sunlight during evenings and it can become stupidly hot if I have my PC on... sometimes *deep breath* sometimes I have to go outside, or maybe read instead

The extreme crapulance of those annoying plinky plonky 50 year old ice cream vans belching out thick black smoke from claped out old engines. You're there chilling at home to some tunes when the best bit comes on. Just as you get it into it you hear DING DING DINGLY DING DANG etc. etc. Winds me up good and proper.

Also the fact that some people insist on driving a hundred yards when its nice when you could walk instead or bike it instead. So there they all are driving a 100 yds in 4x4s just to get an ice cream from the local shop, stinking up the air with their filth and heating things up even more.

The fact that I tan crap as well annoys me...

Wasps, most definately. The fact that some people have yet to appreciate that tight/skimpy clothing is not a right, it's a privilege. People there for feeling it appropriate to wear nothing but football shirts. Back to school advertising everywhere. Queues. Busy roads. Crowded Trains which are too hot and go too slow.

I'l think of somemore in a min.

I have a south facing bedroom so i bloody well hate having the sun shining in through my blinds and curtains from 5am till 9-10pm at night.

grrrr and its always so warm as well due to this, everytime I open the window to have a cheeky ciggy out of it I get lynched by wasps, moths and other flying objects.

Working nights, it's light when I come home and have to sleep. I had to buy blackout curtains.

Well.... I sleep in the nude! And I also have an air conditioner, so I love the summer! But the homless have returned so its not as great as it could have been! You see I have a pool... and I work third shift. So at night all the local homless hangouts go swiming in my pool! Err....

Edit: Spiders... Well thats what my 27 pound cat is for! you see he is very big, and hungry! He just loves bugs!!!

Feeling as if I will die if I don't go to sleep... at 2:30 in the afternoon.

I love summer. It's great, everything is bright and shiney, and it doesnt matter if you have to stumble home at 3am because you know it's going to be dry and warm

I hate it when the weather's like it is here... hot... ie 22c outside, and the rain's coming down in stair-rods... it just isn't cricket. I wouldn't mind if it was cold, and raining, but to have to wear a coat in this heat it's unreal. Also offices..... with the poor little office workers in there complaining of being cold just sitting there beavering away at computers... so they whack the heating on... one office I was in today had the thermostat set at 26c.... I'm warm sat in my office right now, and our aircon is set to 21c.. absolutely nuts some people... and of course, when you're warm, one tends to sweat, and so attract EVERY single little mote of toner. To your face.. arrggh I hate toner

Too hot to sleep at night (fans help, but then the noise is a pain)

PC fans kicking in due to higher room temperature

I have a high ambient body temperature, so even mild temperatures become uncomfortable - hence why I can't sleep well and clothes get icky really quick.

Winter is my favourite season - if I get cold I have can just cuddle my girlfriend
