Giant Sea Serpent Captured ... not joking either

No dodgy grainy video here or doubts about the light reflections , seals - unless its a well made hoax , but I dont think so, see for yourself..

I dont think so , this is in a lake and there are rows of bumps /segments moving , it does not look like fins esp at the distance - but then again im never seen an oarfish swim .

It's a row of small waves catching the light the right way.

Probably the wake from a boat that passed by out of frame right before it was shot.

There have been plenty of video's just like that over the years

    It needs silverlight to play

    ---edit---

Even the description backs me up:

    Translated from Norwegian

17 year old Lisbeth Vefall filmed Thursday a mysterious natural phenomenon in Seljord.

what if they prove its not an edit ?

it could be waves I guess , but Im not totally convinced as their moving faster - out of sync with the ripples next to it.

The waves to me too are remaining sideways, their not dropping off and sometimes even going up - so that part I dont get , as the wakes Ive seen dont do that - in fact no wave does.

it's Norway so probably a fjord, currents move into fjords and run along the edge getting pushed to the middle.

You end up with the water moving in two directions at once and where it meets in the middle you get waves as shown in this video.

It is a very common occurrence that shows up in narrow inlets all over the world.

The size of the inlet required to get this effect is directly proportional to the strength of the current pushing it's way into the inlet.

I myself have seen this very thing in Burrard Inlet in Vancouver and that inlet is huge

Strange then why that family is acting so surprised if its such a common thing.

    Q. how would you spot the difference between that then , and creature that was there just below the surface , wouldnt there be some similarities such as you suggested , or conditions masking the creatures swimming pattern ?

It's globaly common but that family themselves has probably never seen it so they would act surprised.

And I can spot the difference because I have lived in coastal areas long enough to know what a breaking wave looks like and those are breaking waves.

Like I said I have seen this very same phenomenon with my own eyes so I can recognize it easy enough.

But people will believe what they want to believe.

The only problem though is no one has ever seen a verified sea serpent to compare , so how do we know it couldnt be similar , when things like water snakes can cause the same effect ?

Sorry melon but I am going to be blunt here with no intent to cause offence.

IMO your general posting trend is a lot of the government is out to get us, conspiracy and weirdness posts.

It really would not matter if 50 accredited scientists came along and gave big long winded explanations of what it is you would still believe that it's a sea monster because that's what you want to believe.

I implied it might be one , but I never said I believed it.

As for your word - thats fine , but thats just your word so surely you dont expect to believe it any more than you would any monster claim without evidence ?

If I wanted to apply your logic fairly then we would also have to question how reliable your own eyesight and well being was , after all people see many things.
