Write, explain what you require and when you require that it is done by, and more importantly, when you expect a response from your Doctor to say its been done.
If you think they might ignore it, send it recorded delivery, at least then you can prove it arrived.

I dont understand how they can reject you if your were receiving DLA , how do they explain that ?
And why arent the government firing all those doctors then who have said / agreed people are incapable of work ?
They're either right or wrong and if we're failing at such high levels thats means they are too, after all its not like we can cheat the government ourselves without our con conspirators is it ?
If they do that their admitting negligence arent they , so whats to stop you suing them then ?

£100 per year off the rich 10% ?? while poor get £700
"This is an important moment for the Government," they said. "But I think if you look at the range of measures in the statement people will see that it is fair." ( sic )
However research commissioned by the Trades Union Congress, published today, found that families would lose most, out of the £10bn cut in the welfare budget, with low-income households losing more than £700 each a year. That is compared with the richest 10 per cent of households who would lose an estimated £100 per family. Working single parents would lose more than £300 a year if the cuts go ahead, the report says.

Not sure what your point is melon? That someone who has the energy to run an amazon affiliate shop, will have to do some online courses (the horror!), they can talk about their limited energy, but I hope they declare themselves as ST or something appropriate whilst declaring the income.
Or that a report, funded by someone who is aligned with the opposition political party found, that by analysising the data with their own selected view, that people who receive fewer benefits, will fair better during a cut back to the benefits system shocker.
If you think that being forced to consider searching for work, is akin to this you really need to get some reality check. Are you seriously implying that having no food or no shelter is the result of this? Or will it simply be a case of no Sky or Internet whilst having weed money?
Re: ATOS Medical Assessment .

But from what I've read, and been told, these assessments aren't working out in practice in line with that principle. Not by a very large margin.
The principle is fine, but the practice, frankly, stinks.
Agree, but back in the real world the disabled lobby need to accept that they get paid less to compensate for the lower work output and higher costs. Any time such a concept is mooted, it is greeted with howls of Nazi torture camp slave-labour outcry. Those who speak for the disabled in the media seem determined to continue the present useless-for-everyone regime.

I am in the same boat and waiting for a doctor to visit my home for this , lost one appeal and had to reclaim esa due to my GP saying I am still unfit for work .
had a cut in my rent that they pay also as well as the money I get for everyday living , with gas and elec prices still on the rise how are the disabled supposed to live ? (eat and freeze or starve and be warm) .
I have got a DLA car parked outside and cannot afford to use it even trips to the hospital my parents pay for the fuel , one thing for sure in the uk is the rich get richer and the poor/disabled get shafted yet again .
mind you dla is changing also this year , which will save them 2.2 billion it has been said .
how can a nurse over ride what the doctors say is beyond me

Of course, its basic self preservation.
Once a lobby group has achieved its goals, its no longer needed, so spends most of its time making a lot of noise but often little progress.

Hi Bob,
What I plan on doing is asking them a lot about my issues so I get their incompetence recorded ( basically testing them myself ) .
If their the experts ATOS claim that should be no problem .
As for this tests , they are actually insulting IMO , because it does not take into account repetitive nature of things and just works on reductionism and then generalises and exaggerates everything to the other extreme -so the one time because all the time and more.
Its like saying just because someone can walk through a camp fire ( by definition fire when its reduced therefore all forms of it ) they can also walk through 12 blocks of burning houses or through mines.

Or in my case, a benefits advisor with no medical training.
I've been stuck in limbo for years because of the benefits system. After watching the announcement of the new "fairer" benefits system I decided to give it another crack and I'm having a worse experience then before.
The whole process is backwards. Instead of working out what support I need. They seem to want to eliminate what support I don't need. While happily wasting the time of my employer, family, doctor and everyone else involved.
The system is so broken I just can't understand why it even exists.
2 months down the line now. For all the time, effort and endless paper work I'm yet to received any help. I guess I'll being living in limbo for awhile longer yet!

this half way through the third year for me and I am still no further forward tbh , I am now in dept with EDF for my elec and severntrent water and yet i cannot get any help either .
one thing is for sure they would not give a stuff if I were dead apart from they would save money , the system needs changing and bringing into the 21st century and the current changes are still pointless as they do not change enough .
I am at the point of using my last bit of benefit to buy booze to take my pain killers to end it tbh as I cannot go on like this much longer like this , who would employ you if you had a load of time off of work due to your condition ? . not many if any (sorry for all the edits as I forgot how to spell and no I don't drink)

Who would employ if your stuck in bed ?
Do they plan on taking me in and out on a stretcher ?
the whole thing is a just a farce when youve got people who make more in one day than I prob will ever have in year with offshore accounts perfectly healthy and living of their own entitlement with benefits from their pals in whitechapel etc
One things for sure when the referendum comes round here SNP are getting my vote , Id rather take my chances with something new than 2 sides of the same coin, what will happen to you guys then I dont know - it depends I suppose in what happens to us if they ( SNP ) win.
Re: ATOS Medical Assessment .
a farce indeed but there is little that can be done tbh

It is Nazi camp because theres only exit out and no one wins other than the Nazi Tories and all their benefactors.
The gap of poverty shows there is no middleclass any more just poor and rich - go watch 1984 or read animal farm because thats where we're just about at.
Now why is it those who are rich and caused all this mess are being rewarded more if , by your theory every one should shoulder this mess ( which I have no problem with IF its applied fairly ), but where is the evidence to show that is happening if its not already ?
Look at the US , the motherland of the big C and look at the poverty gap now
Do you think its right someone dependent on that money should lose half of it , if not all while someone who perpetrated it gets to decided how much they should pay ?
You seem to forget what started all this , it wasnt some wee disabled person or even the single mothers it was the politicians who setup these conditions, and time and time again no matter what they do , they get away with it .
Like Bush and Blair they have their own set of rules , and another for us , we might as well be 2 different species .
In a nutshell this is why basing our currency on wealth and rewarding people who make it is doomed, the same greed that motivates those people to make more does at the price of being in touch with anyone , including themselves- they are like like lunatics with the keys the asylum.
Its debatable even if 1% of the wealthy or rich have done anything even worthwhile because in the end ( regardless of what we've done ) we're all here under the gun and stuck a system which rewards those purely on wealth - regardless of how their able to attain it.
