    The nights grow darker...

Yup, it's getting late early, so to speak, as the nights come quicker. That means winter isn't far away...

This leads me to ask, how many of you experience your mood being effected by the seasons? I certainly seem to smile more in summer! Looking at the way things are going... this winter is going to suck.

Anyway, who finds themselves unhappier during the winter months?

I myself quite enjoy winter really, but only proper winter. I don't like half hearted days as we are having at the mo, where it is cold then sunny etc. If it just makes it mind up then I can get dressed accordingly.

Heh its all about state of mind guys, you think gloomy you'll be gloomy, some great stuff in autumn and winter, the cold crisp air, open fires in pubs. Snow of course.

And of course those of you like me who have turbo's on their cars LOVE cold damp air

Prefer the winter myself; dark evenings, snow, sitting in by the fire watching people freezing their bits off outside. Walking the dog at night in late Autum with the wind swirling and the leaves flying all over the place.

    Prefer the colder seasons.

Kezzy boy, find a nice girl, and snuggle up in front of the fire on a cold Winters night, and you'll start to appriciate the season a lot more.

being a summer baby, born during the summer equinox, i have to say i'm definitely happier in the summer. I hate winters, and if i had enough money i'd go and stay in the dsouthern hemisphere for 50% of the year (well 100% if australia's winter this year is anything to go by!)

    Don't

And I myself hate summer. Find myself more happier during the winter, for mainly the same reasons Vaul described. I like a nice crisp cold winter's morning!

Summer, you can keep your snuggling by open fires, sat in the back garden with a load of mates, plenty of beer and a bbq on the go......beats it hands down tbh

Then in the summer you've got the beer garden (always a source of fun), festivals, holidays, whats not to like?

I dont like cold days. My body's thermostat doesnt work, and is worst int he winter when its really cold and i'm sweating buckets, but i cant take any clothes off cos i'm actually red and perishingly cold to touch. It's blumin annoying. Rain depresses me. This summer has been quite a wet summer, so i've not been as happy as i usually am, but when it's been nice i like to go lie in the sun, relax, have a picnic, eat ice lollies, and enjoy the nice weather. I cant be bothered leaving the house if it's raining/snowing/sleeting cos you just end up getting unnessecarily wet! And then when you get to where you want to go u're all cold and miserable and havent got anything to change into.

BAH BLUMIN HUMBUG! i hate winter!
