I want either an SE t610 or a Samsung v200 badly. P800 has a good standby time from what ive seen on it. 200 hours with use. Of course some people take 50 pictures in a day and have a half hour conversation then write about the bad battery life in their user review sigh

I had a play with a P800 last sunday (at a dayclub of all places ) and i was pretty amazed by it.
Good MP3 and video playback, and the camera was also very good.
Touch screen which was very responsive, and a nice colour. If i could afford it, id have one. The only thing that put me off was the size - still, its not really a phone, its more of a PDA and phone in one.

I also want the SE610 steve, i may be getting it somtime within the next 2 weeks with any luck.

i heard the screen on the t610 is hard to see in day light... bit of a screw up on ericsson's part there... i'm not sure but they might be bringing out a newer version.

oh and there's something you ahve to look out for when getting a new one, sound has been patchy on some models; make sure its been made recently (or after week 22 this year i think) you check by looking under the battery at the serial codes - somewhere there is a 2 digit no. seperate from the rest - if its greater than 22 > away you go!

Yeah i heard about this but sadly its true of all phones with a colour screen to a certain extent. I cant really see it being an issue unless you like to play mobile phone games hmm

Those phones with dodgy speakers are on the wrong side of the atlantic so we are safe. In the unlikely event they supply dodgy handsets SE will replace under warranty i think ???

I want this or a v200, cant decide tho i am leaning toward the SE at this moment

This is the same with virtually all passive matrix TFT screens on mobiles..... To get a properly lit display that bright light doesnt affect you need active matrix TFT.

The problem with that is battery life as it uses more power when in use so its a trade off..... Not had any probs with the T68i or T610 I have had....

I've just upgraded to a t610 from a t68i and it rocks. Its the best phone out there at the mo. And I've played with most of them (Housemate manager at CPW so he brings home the kit for play time )

I'd go for 6100... I didn't (because I'm tight and didn't want to fork out £50) but thats not the point!! I got 3510i... good phone so far, good features etc and downloadable games for when I'm bored on the train, but HUGE and HEAVY compared to my old 8310, which is a bit disappointing, but hey! I'm sure I will survive!

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.
