Ever heard of an online store that closes at night? SILLY innit!!

Online Shopping - Store Closed We are currently unable to take orders after 23:00 BST. We are working to increase our opening hours to offer you a better service
and aim to introduce this as soon as possible. The store will re-open at 7:00 BST. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause

Hmmm, almost as advanced as the extreme pie onlne ordering system, where an oder would appear on screen, and someone would copy it down onto paper, and run donstairs and hand it too the next person wo would get all the stuff for the orders...

Why do they even bother having an online store, and neglecting its main selling point ?

It would appear that the 'popularity' of the online store has outgrown the logistical backbone that supports it...

I'm sure they do, too... However, there's a long chain of events from receiving the order to actually getting the order out to delivery, which takes time. Also, if you're familiar with queuing theory, irregular flow of transactions can have knock-on effect on the process rate and no matter how efficient the process is there are always situations where queues form in the system.

tbh with Next it would be easier and quicker to just browse the catalogue and phone them with your order. tis swift and simple in my experience
