For Sale Forum... are you having trouble accessing it???

As most of you are now aware the forum software has been altered so that 100 posts are required before you can see/post in the for sale forum.

A lot of people have got upset over this so I will explain the reasoning behind it.

Primarily it is to stop people from solely using for sale and no other forum. Hexus is a community not ebay. There are plenty of places you can sell stuff if you wish.

Secondly it helps prevent people signing up just to con members out of their hard earned cash. I think you all agree making for sale safer to use is a very good thing.

The 100 post limit is not very high but if it is abused as certain people seem to think they can , it will be raised. At the moment you will just have your post count zero'd but the option of raising the limit is there as is banning serious offenders from ever seeing the for sale forums.
