I probably will. I should be able to make a better call this weekend.

    Re: HEXUS.social - Airbourne Saturday 16th August 2014

Got my programme. Schedule for Saturday is:

    12:33 Chinook HC2
    12:43 Tucano T1
    12:53 Jet Provost
    13:03 Breitling Wingwalkers
    13:20 Tutor T1
    13:30 RV8TORS
    13:45 Red Arrows
14:10 Royal Navy Raiders Freefall Team
    14:27 P-51 Mustang
    14:39 Lynx AH7
    14:49 Gnat Display Team
15:05 Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight
    15:25 Dakota
    15:32 Norwegian Vampires
    15:44 The Blades
    16:01 Spitfire MK1
    16:13 Typhoon FGR4
    16:23 Sea King HAR3

I am guessing most of you will be coming by train? If so, the walk to the sea front from the station will lead you past Harry Ramsdens, we can set a meeting point outside there if you like? Is that how it's normally done? I can PM attendees my mobile number if needed, just in case you're running late or something.

    Re: HEXUS.social - Airbourne Saturday 16th August 2014

Looks like wife is heading to her parents for that weekend, so I am free. I will probably catch the train to get to Eastbourne 11ish to get some food and have a walk about.

So who else is going, and what time / where do people want to meet. I will be bringing a lens for the moose to play with and a monopod to to hold it.

    Re: HEXUS.social - Airbourne Saturday 16th August 2014

I will be driving down from North London, if... and it's looking good at the moment, my arm has healed enough.

I can bring two tripods if wanted, my travel carbon fibre one, which isn't suitable for Bigma, and my steel one that is happily strong enough for Bigma. I can also give at least one person a lift (I've got a 3 door).

If people have any parking suggestions, I don't know Eastbourne.

I'm looking at getting a train down there to arrive a bit before midday. I'll literally have to blow the dust off my camera gear!

Yeah, don't park in Eastbourne on the day, as it's a free event, it will be manic! I am getting the bus, there's a park and ride service but I don't know what it's like: http://www.visiteastbourne.com/airbo...ourneinfo.aspx

Bagnaj97 knows some people in the area,so we should be able to park at their place and we could walk to the pier.

I would offer too, but currently live in Hailsham.

So meeting at 11am then, at the entrance to the burnt pier? Are we going to do something like hold red balloons so we know who we all are?

I can get a slightly earlier train to get there for 11:13, but won't be able to do any earlier than that really.

Kind of you to offer, how far abouts is it? I ask because I recently acquired a couple of fractures in my arm, normally I just load up a big bag, I know I can happily do 10km with 10kg without much hassle, but at the moment I'm, well frankly not confident in my physical ability.

How far walk would it be? Is there a regular bus? One of the reasons I was thinking of driving was to avoid physical stress.

Normally I'd jump at the chance, but I'm a little bit concerned, I don't want to make it hurt as bad as it did last week lol
