Well boss, it's nice to know you're thinking of us but after the pics of g8ina's lovely family, the posts have all been a bit downhill.

Perhaps life is something that happens concurrently with our moaning? Need to keep an eye on that...

Well DR my life is fab. I thought it would be nice for you to know one of your clientele is happy and even if things aren't hunky dory for everyone at the moment, you can all look forward to a bumper 2014 Christmas courtesy of Santa.

    Now cheer up fellers

Re: So how are you lovely HEXUS readers doing?

swiftly taking the thread back to misery and suffering

another one of our chickens died recently, down to 1 now. the chicken seems to be happy enough, just a bit lost as to what to do. it used to boss the others about and run around the garden chasing cats and pigeons, now it hides in a bush and digs big holes in the lawn.

at least the neighbours have very nearly finished building work, only took them 3 years. it did need a lot of work doing to it, probably why they got it for £100k under asking.

aah well. back to being miserable for me.

don't even get a free pass for the flowershow in a few weeks, since they shut down shopmobility due to 'not enough locals using the scheme they couldnt justify it in the budget'. its not our fault that southports a tourist town and mainly tourists used the services in a tourist town. stupid council

looking forward to all the complaints about the show. we used to hire out the scooters for £5 for the whole day, new people I think (heard from someone) may be charging £20 and maybe a deposit. people complained we charged too much.

    boo to being happy

I agree with Santa - too much gloom in this thread.

Wife had 12 week scan last Sat - saw what I'm pretty sure is some kind of alien parasite. LAN party this weekend, Airbourne Hexus meet in a couple of weeks and the sun is shining. Life is good !

I think I could tip this thread over the edge if I was being honest. So I won't.

    Everything's grand, thanks for asking

So how many people work at Hexus down in St Albans?

Many congratulations on your alien parasite! I'm sure the next 6 months will fly by (for you anyway, if not your wife!).

Yeah. It's the 20 years after that that drag.

Sorry, we were trying to be cheerful.

Seriously, congrats Bagnaj, and to Mrs Bagnaj, too.

Re: So how are you lovely HEXUS readers doing?

I bought my first property last month, along with all the stress that comes with that and moving. And I'm bored of cleaning my old flat ready to get the deposit back. Plus I'm away during the week due to work, so can only do these things at the weekend.

Yeah, I'm doing OK but should be better next month when things calm down.

Animus- sorry to hear about your accident, hope you get well soon . I got forced of the road whilst cycling a couple of days ago. It happened on a stretch of road that had temp. traffic lights erected while 'openreach' were renewing a length of cable. No damage or injury though.
Yes doing fine , retired and out cycling everyday weather permitting.

Be fair, thread just asks how are you doing, nothing about '& unless all's well can you keep your miserable lives to yourselves & not make the place untidy'

Good on you to those doing well, and a cup of tea & companionable nod to the less sunny contingent.

    RIP stevie's chicken btw.

Re: So how are you lovely HEXUS readers doing?

Life is fairly good right now, got my HND in Networking and Internet Technology, thats given me the qualifications I need to get into 3rd year Uni, so starting Networked Systems Engineering in September after I do a 2 week maths course in August.
Hopefully 2 years at uni for an honours degree

I just did a couple weeks volunteering at Commonwealth games, IT support role. Was fun but everything ran smoothly, which meant I had little to do, but still fun

Sorry to hear Animus, some drivers are just idiots

Feeling chuffed. Finally got my lawn laid, after months of work and 3 x 8yd skips filled with concrete and rubble it looks like a proper lawn

Notice how far down the level has dropped by looking at the fence panels at the back! All my own hard work!

No fire Jim, it's Scottish summer, so it's been raining all day

That old shed was a death trap, going from a 16ft shed to an 8x6 is hard though, no room for all those tools I've never used!
