At the moment, I'd say it's deep house for me. I'm quite a big bass fan so it a perfect match for me. Having said that, I enjoy a lot of music from every category I've listened to so far.
Tell the Hexus forum - what do you like listening to?

I like a bit of Jazzy Funky Soul-y dance music most of all i reckon, but I have a real soft spot for the more obscure side of the electronic music market. Aphex twin and Squarepusher would be the names people are most likely to know of the style.
I saw Amon Tobin's live IASM show a few years ago, was probably one of the most amazing live music/visual experiences i have ever had.
Keygen
I'm boring when it comes musical tastes, as I was born and raised on Queen and Quo, aand later added various alt rock and metal bands to the mix like RHCP, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Creed and a host of similar bands.

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
Pretty much anything with slightly odd altered chords, offbeat keys, odd timing, things that throw a bit of flavour in. Currently getting into traditional flamenco with the middle Eastern influences - was blown away by some live busking outside bars in Jerez. Quite like proper thumping bassy dance too - Chase + Status or Skrillex. Mainstream rock no, Soundgarden, some Led Zeppelin or Alice in Chains yes.
Nice to see the chiptunes getting some love, think they account for about 80% of what I listen to at work. Rest is a mix of decent rock/metal, old school 80s-90s hip hop and bassy 90s electronic.
Whatever's on Radio 2 in the car.
You should have a listen to some of Myrath's tracks. They're a prog/power metal band from Tunisia, so there are a lot of eastern influences for flavour.
As for me, I like anything powerful and/or epic. That usually ends up being (power) metal of some flavour, but often soundtracks and trailer music (Two Steps From Hell are awesome!). Basically if you can imagine yourself charging into battle with a massive broadsword hacking heads off orcs whilst listening to it, I'll like it!
I discovered Two Steps From Hell just a month or two ago. Been enjoying them! Have you tried searching Youtube for 'Epic Music'? There's no end of channels and some surprisingly high quality stuff. John Dreamer is another one that comes to mind.
My tastes tend to fluctuate a bit. Not sure if I have a favourite genre. I'm a bit odd when it comes to music. For some music is obviously a huge part of their life but that's not so much the case for me. I came to the conclusion that what I love in and want from music is beauty, and I'll take it wherever I can find it. Although I do enjoy different forms of electronic music I don't always enjoy all types. However, I've found that I can almost always enjoy the sound of real acoustic instruments even if the genre isn't to my taste.
Genres I tend to spend the most time in:
Country
'Epic' music/orchestral/Movie soundtracks
World Music - esp. Celtic and some chinese trad.
A little bit of bubblegum pop (e.g. smile.dk)
80's pop/rock

Listen to that Hammerfall song - it does sound like "arse on fire" !!
I've always been my local rock club's token indie kid
Grew up on Queen largely, but got into jangly indie-pop in the early nineties. I don't listen to much music nowadays, but I've never drifted far from that folk-pop/indie-rock axis
I guess to the larger part my tastes seem to be guitar based music, I like tracks from bands like Coldplay, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Keane and I tend to listen to XFM to get my fill of new music. But I also like old school hip-hop from time to time, some house, some techno, some reggae, Motown classics, 80's soul, electro and more, a lot depends on my mood at the time.
Ooh... yes. Forgot to mention - Little bit of New Jack Swing (Wreckx N Effect etc.) and hip hop (- mostly Lecrae).

Metallllllllll
Mostly Viking Metal ATM like Amon Amarth
Isn't Two Steps from Hell the people who do lots of epic film trailer music
I think like most I went through a bit of musical walkabout when I was younger - Brit Pop, Hardcore, Emo Punk, Metal, Punk, Pop, Indie. These days I tend to like anything with a good bass rifts and a hook filled melody, or lots of layers. Also become a fan of electronic music - Royksopp and Air primarily. Current pick is The Birthday Massacre, which are typically a bit too gothic for my tastes, but they have some lovely anthemic and layered synth/guitar tracks:
