Really tricky infrared conversion.

Just undertaken the MOST complex IR modification of any camera I've ever done !!

Nikon Coolpix 5700, 5.1 MP, 8x optical zoom, modded to 850nm.

Took me FOUR hours !

Not without a small casualty, the plug for the main monitor was broken during reassembly, but fortunately this camera has an EVF too and everything else is spot on, no dust, focus is perfect. Quite happy about that today. Pics will follow once the sun is shining again.

After that part in the above guide was done, took another two hours and a lot of swearing to get to the sensor, swap it, and then reassemble.

Yep, even with printed pics and double sided tape I still have two screws left over
