Long ago ( well.....the 40's and 50' ) brave brave souls flew their aircraft high over glaciers and took stunning aerial photographs of mother nature's huge water capture scheme.......
And those intrepid pilots didn't know that 60 years later we'd be taking photos from space nearly as often as we simply fancied. But they also didn't know that we'd be worried silly that those glaciers may be melting and to have these photographs now is a wonderful thing

It's a stunning set of photos! As the article states....lining then up with things that won't have moved for 60 years will be a killer challenge but still.....
This is what modern science and computer technology is for....it's what makes us tick as a race.
