    Flubit

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone here as used Flubit and would you rate it etc? Looking at saving £12 on my HDD + GPU if I order via Flubit compared to Amazon but won't get it next day.

Also since its a third party middle man just abit iffy about returns etc if something goes wrong or I don't want it.

It's a £12 premium but I've never had an issue with Amazon and returns.

I see a fair amount of complaints about their after-sales on HUKD myself. Some of the savings seem reasonable, but if it's a couple of quid I'd prefer to deal direct with Amazon.

Had and been using Flubit for around half a year now, tend to use it for non time sensitive orders or if i don't care where they come from, not sure I'd order large value items from them due to the returns policy though.

I also use them for some things but not others. I'm not sure how warranties work with them so anything I care about being able to return I don't use them for. They do occasionally have 10%off everything codes which can be quite useful for some things as well.

    Re: Flubit

This is the issue I'm having. Some people are swearing by it and others are saying avoid big time. I would be getting a £13 saving compared to Amazon but then I lose out on my prime and the customer service side of it.

Up to 2 weeks for delivery is a joke from what some people have said. Don't think I will be going with it

I've been using them for a while now as well - It's been great!
It's a bit of a long process at times. Having to decline offers and ask for them again until you get a good discount

As Jasp says, I tend to order from them when I don't need the items in a hurry. I'm one of those people that have waited almost 2 weeks to receive an item. There wasn't any tracking info I could find either - I eventually got the item though

I always find it odd that you sometimes get the item with a receipt/invoice from another store with a higher amount - still wonder how they work/survive

I've never had any of the items I bought from them fail so don't know about returns, (touch wood)

    Re: Flubit

I've used them a few times - and not really had a problem...but I don't use them anymore

I've personally found that for low value items (under £100) they are pretty good and tend to sell a lot of things themselves - but for high value electronics, you often get offered something from Simply Electronics or one of their many, many aliases.

Simply etc are well known for being "Dodgy" and absolutely awful to deal with - and any retailer that partners with them or recommends them gets a blacklist in my view. This is why i've stopped using Flubit - if they allow Simply Electronics to resell through them, then they clearly don't vet their suppliers at all. Really puts me off!

+1 , only been using them since Jan 15. 1 SSD took over 2 weeks to arrive another 2-3 days. Have bought other items and they have come within 2-3 days.

Besides their website not having tracking info, have seen on occasions I have received item but their site state awaiting dispatch, so even comms between them and dispatching company looks like not there.

Have saved 10% + on items, I wouldn't buy an item from them if discount is less than 10%.

    Re: Flubit

I bought some portable speakers using Flubit once and the order process from linking the item for an offer to receiving it took less than a week so my first experience was a good one. It came in exactly the colour I stated and even with the extra case.

Unfortunately I haven't used it any other times so can't comment for long term reliability.
