Venus and Jupiter Converge Tonight = Big Shiny Star

Western Horizon around 10:30pm-11:15pm BST apparently. First time in 2000 years, or so they say.

Maybe someone with expertise in this area can provide better specifics for anyone interested?

Doesn't a planetary convergence mean the Illuminati get to use the Triangle Of Light and take control of the world?

Beyond that, I think the link you've provided is pretty darn informative.

Ah see, you've been reading far too much tabloid nonsense.

Planetary convergences and other astronomical events are actually just used by the Illuminati as distractions. If you want to see what they're really up to you should look in the opposite direction from whatever event is taking place.

nah, watching the first Tomb Raider movie... although there was a distracting body or two. Impressive spheres!!

Apparently convergences happen all the time, more so with planet-Moon ones (about 7 times a month), although this is meant to be the one of the clearest.
Keep reading things about the Star of Bethlehem too, but I skip those parts.

Re: Venus and Jupiter Converge Tonight = Big Shiny Star

Well it was an enjoyable event to watch but in the end they didn't come together to look like one star. Not sure who got that wrong. Still, awesome thing to look up and see planets moving through space before your eyes.

Always reminds me of something I read in an RNLI handbook on celestial navigation - that those who learned the art were able, for their course, to rely upon colossal bodies moving through the universe over incredible distances in a way that will endure long after the last satellite has burned up "in the final truth of re-entry".

Well I know one of the neighbours was watching it, out of the blue a couple of days ago sprouted a mini observatory, complete with folding roof etc, certainly a step up from the telescope he used to stand out there with!

"Eyes on the Solar System" is a 3-D environment full of real NASA mission data. Explore the cosmos from your computer. Hop on an asteroid. Fly with NASA's Voyager spacecraft. See the entire solar system moving in real time. It's up to you. You control space and time.

I thought it was the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, but then I realized that was when Jupiter and Mars aligned, so I sort of ignored it...
