Pack of chocolate chunk cookies
is it me or is this thread not just mundane? I just bought a sandwich. Who cares?
The last thing on my Homebase shop was Wood Pollyfilla Dark
This thing should be Twitter though surely?
A 36"x24" map of Isla Nublar and a print that I'm looking at as a possible tattoo
Well side by side you can tell the difference, but IMO economy win and are half the price. They're a bit thinner, and not quite as sugary biscuit, but perfectly reasonable. So there you go. the 35p pack is worth the saving. Note this is for chocolate digestives, not plain, and definitely NOT the chocolate chip cookies - for which the economy ones are far inferior.
My new car signed the paperwork today..
The farm actually.. I was having a play with some AAA in my Sturmovik and got my rudder shot off again.

I remember doing a similar test on Cornflakes, using Kelloggs as the reference. I tried several, including Morrison's, ASDA and Waitrose, and they were, ummm ... very close. Side by side with Kelloggs, I could tell the difference but couldn't decide which was 'better'.
One day I tried an ultra-budget box from Tesco, by which I mean some ludicrous price, like 10p, Well, if it's them or starve, I suppose I'd prefer the el-cheapo flakes. Barely. Probably. If I hadn't eaten for a week. I forced myself to stick with them for nearly half a portion, before ditching the other half, and the rest of the box. I would compare them to old cardboard but that'd be an improvement.
On the other hand, I now normally get Waitrose own brand, about £1.50 for a BIG box, which is less than the Kelloggs for a box about half the size.
It pays to be cheap, but not TOO cheap.

(*) Except that as soon as something got good reviews, supermarkets would be likely to switch down the contents.
