Here's an helpful article on what to do if Amazon bans you for returning too many items.

I don't see how they could even enforce a ban like this. You could just create a new account and carry on?
So just enter the address slightly different (so it's a new entry on their database), or have stuff delivered to work or a friend's house and use a masked credit card service
But TBH they probably just go off the account.
So retailers are banning people who abuse their returns policy. Shocker!
Apparently BBC Watchdog has been looking into Amazon blocking customers accounts (mentioned at the very end of this weeks episode).
They will be talking about it next Thursday.
Weird though. You would expect some form of engagement, before they put there foot down and say no tight?
I got the warning email masqued as customer care. I ordered and returned (successively of course) about 5-6 different protectors for my phone as none of them worked. It turned out that the phone had slightly curved screen so there is no glass protector that would work at all and the vendors were simply making them blindly by the dimensions published by Motorola.
I explained this to Amazon and everything was fine. This was the only time the customer service of amazon wasn't nice towards me...
Honestly the first time I've heard of Amazon banning for this. I'd figure they'd only do it for fraud or related instances, but they must have been incurring a net loss to take such a measure. If it happened to me, I'd consider appealing, but to hell with them if they denied it and wouldn't want my business
There was a Watchdog segment on this last night, I only caught the end of it though.
Watch again here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06nvvjb
Read Amazon's response here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/arti...mpany-response
So they say they do work with the customer first.
Tepo, what did they say to you before banning you?
It was just a cautionary email about my returns being more than normal - no implied / mention of banning at all - hence the shock factor I suppose.
