..reading the BBC news on my phone this morning, these 2 stories directly followed one another:

The Papers: "World on knife edge" after jet shot down

Also in the news: Town lights up Santa's "pants"

I'm sure it's a comfort to us all in these perilous times to know Santa's xmas pants are twinkling away in Tiverton (should you need to know:)

Yikes! I thought someone had put a picture of my washing line on the internet. Those are my pants!

Made me laugh though (nearly as much as when John McDonnell quoted Mao and passed his little red book across the despatch box and George Osborne said "Oh look, its his personal signed copy").
