Republicans are choosing their nominee from between Trump and Cruz etc.

Democrats are choosing their nominee from between Clinton and Saunders etc.

Republicans don't have a say in the democrat nomination, and democrats don't have a say in the republican nomination.

So that the republicans are leaning towards Trump doesn't mean America as a whole is - there's an election to be had first!

Each party chooses their own candidate, and with Cruz dropping out Trump is the front runner by a huge margin over Kasich to be the Republican candidate. Meanwhile the Democrats are choosing between Hillary and Sanders. I've yet to meet a Hillary voter and I'm not sure they exist, but she's winning her party's nomination. I'm hoping for Sanders to run as an independent to disrupt the two party system. Either Trump or Hillary would be a disaster. At least Trump would be incompetent.
