I've spent the day driving my missus and boy around, to kids parties and clay shooting lessons etc

She's out for the evening now, so it's gonna be a film soon I think, after I've got Jr to bed.

I made some DIY snap caps this evening with some old cartridges and my glue gun. Went well. Played a bit of lego too.

Apart from that...not got much done. Just gotta choose a film... I'm thinking classic 80's or 90's

I've just put the little 'un to bed after many many stories and I'm now trying to work out if I should take a job offer or just bury my head in the sand and sink another few hours on top of the gazillion hours I've already put into Fallout 4. Didn't do much in the day other than the necessary usual stuff; stuck my Wii U and Xbox 360 on the evil auction site but other than that it was breakfast, playing with my son, put a wash on, playing, lunch, playing, another wash on, dishwasher on, playing, dinner, bath time, bed time, story time.

sorting out 'home media center' kit. brand new Denon AVR-X2200W, with B&W 6xx S2's plugging into a VHS, dvd, and a 24" TV, PC via long HDMI. might set up C64 aswell, been a while since it was last used.

It's a bit of a mish mash setup, but it all still works.

figuring out which bank to swap to aswell, current one is closing and next nearest branch is Preston or Liverpool. bit far to go for a passbook account.
yes I know internet banking is a 'thing' nowadays, but its easier doing stuff in branch talking to real people.

also just done a big barbecue noodle flavoured burp. its a life of luxury round here

Working; in Long Beach in LA. Started at 6am, and will probably finish around 11pm. I got here Wednesday and fly back tomorrow night, so I am still jet-lagged as well.

Got up at the crack of dawn with the little 'un, fed watered & him.
Tried hacking a crap Vodafone router to find a way to obtain the PPPoE settings, made some headway & now at least have my username.
Set up my repaired Onkyo AV amp, had the dreaded HDMI board issue but to be fair to Onkyo it's 6 years out of warranty and they still fixed it for free. They paid for the shipping to Germany too!
Hacked my BMW E91 335i's satnav so I could upgrade to the latest maps for free, saved over £250 doing this and I have no moral issues about it either. Shame on BMW for not treating their long standing customers as fairly as new ones!
Fitted new car seat for the little 'un to said BMW. Jesus he grows fast!!
Boxed up spare set of MTB wheels and put in loft
Serviced the lawn mower ready for the grass cutting season
Went to the tip
Took kids 10 pin bowling
I'm now done in and ready to watch the recorded F1 qualifying and MoTD with a large JD&Coke!!!!

I went shopping, started putting back the room I just decorated, mowed the front lawn, and then kicked back for an evening of computer games but switched to binge watching some "The Flash" with my daughter on the Now TV box I got on sale at Argos. My wife wandered in with amazing timing for the only violent bit in the 4 episodes we saw and said "Should she be watching this?", sigh
