EE Bill

Hi folks,

I left EE in Marc h to join BT. Switched over easily - received my final bill - paid it and that was that.

However, yesterday I got a letter from EE saying 'Revised Final Bill' looking 13p.

Now, I know its only 13p but it is supposedly a charge for a text. I don't know the number on the text and it doesn't have a date beside it (texts are free on my phone plan).

So overall, I am dubious. Going to ring them later as it seems weird I get this 2 months after I leave and have settled the account.

Anyone else had this?

I'd just pay it - it's 13p and more of your time will be taken up trying to resolve it.

I would just pay it personally, but I'm wondering it might be a some sort of text info service that gets delivered to your mobile for a charge. EE should be able to tell you if this is the case or not. It might be worth checking your BT usage to see if the same text number pops up too.

I was just thinking it might be worth just googling the number and see what comes up?

Also it might be a number plus an international code on the front, if a particular number goes near an international border or cruise liners even and hops on to a foreign network and then a text can be sent and cause a charge.
