Disappointed in them. They are supposed to last longer, but I went into the pub and bought a pint and a packet of crisps and it lasted no longer than a paper one.
Very underwhelmed..

It looks like the new fivers ain't so indestructible, people have been getting them hot with some rather amusing results.

Heh, within 10 minutes of posting in this thread I got a new fiver in my change from the train station. Only an AC serial though, so I doubt it's worth more than face value. They're kind of pretty, but as with all significant changes to notes/coins they don't feel like real money yet; give them a couple of years and I suspect we'll not even notice them...!
Quite springy - I was holding one by lightly squeezing the long edges and somehow managed to ping it - went about 3 foot.
I can't tell whether Winston is looking at me with something like paternal love or irritation
Got one today... oh well I suppose we'll get used to them eventually

I am collecting them and will troll seniors with them - mainly those who are not up to date with the news
I had one the other day and it felt like monopoly money or something. Not impressed...
