Re: A phone number to block (Nuisance call)

This is recently making my life a pain, being phoned at least 3 times a day from an Unknown number / international number, I signed up to the http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html - ""Telephone Preference Service (TPS) is a free service. It is the official central opt out register on which you can record your preference not to receive unsolicited sales or marketing calls". But for the phones calls i'm getting this has'nt made a difference. Virgin media cant do anything about them apart from change my number. Calls always 'about my car accident I had' When I tell them I dont have a Car or that I'm 12 years old they dont get it :S serlsly I hate these F%^%krS and i wish they would get strangled but the cord they phone from.

Like email spam, once you're number is on a list, you'll be bombarded. Do you use your voicemail? If not you could disable it and set your phone only to accept calls with a number (a little risky as many legitimate companies hide their number for no good reason). I think some telcos will block all international numbers.
